  • Through August 10, the top two money-earners of the 2022 crop racing in North America are both offspring of her freshman sire THOUSAND WORDS, sire of this filly.

  • THE QUEENS M G has won 3 of her 4 starts, and $254,380, including the G3 Adirondack Stakes at Saratoga on August 4th .

  • VODKA WITH A TWIST, another filly by THOUSAND WORDS, has 2 wins and a second in 3 starts, winning the Debutante at Churchill Downs and running 3 wide to get up for second in the Grade 3 Sorrento at Del Mar August 10th.

  • A G2 winner at 2 himself, THOUSAND WORDS won 4 of 9 starts before entering stud at Spendthrift Farm. He has 11 winners to date, including 12.5% stakes horses from starters and 46% winners to mid-August, including 3 winners from the same broodmare sire line as this filly.

  • THOUSAND WORDS is a son of the prolific sire PIONEEROF THE NILE, sire of Triple Crown winner AMERICAN PHAROAH (currently among the top 30 American sires along with another son of PIONEEROF THE NILE, CAIRO PRINCE).

  • Her dam is a daughter of HARLAN’s HOLIDAY, also sire of the phenomenal sire INTO MISCHIEF – currently the nation’s leading sire (and sire of the #6 sire, GOLDENCENTS and the #10 sire, PRACTICAL JOKE).

  • A winner at a mile on the turf at Monmouth, this filly’s dam has had 4 winners, including the venerable VETERAN’S HOLIDAY – on the board 15 times, ST. LUKES, a 9 ¼ - length winner at Aqueduct, and ARCTIC TRIUMPH, who won a maiden special sprinting on the dirt.

  • Her 2nd dam was a stakes winner tough enough to race through her 5yo season (plus one start at 6), winning or placing in 21 of 40 starts.

  • 2nd dam had 5 foals to start – all winners, including a $400,000+ earner.

  • An outcross through five generations, this filly traces her female line back to BIG HURRY, a stakes-winning daughter of the great broodmare LA TROIENNE. Descendants of BIG HURRY include EASY GOER, CAERLEON, AFFECTIONATELY, ALLEZ FRANCE, SEA HERO, and MUNNINGS.
