  • By the Leading Sire in Texas last year, COMPETITIVE EDGE - one of the top runners of his generation, winner of four of seven starts, including the Grade 1 Hopeful Stakes at two, and the Grade 3 Pat Day Mile at Churchill Downs at 3

  • Sire of over 20 stakes – a solid 10% of starters; 70% winners from starters, and $76,492 average earnings per starter

  • Current 2yo crop includes TEQUILA KISS – winner of the Texas Stallion Pan Zareta Division Stakes in her first lifetime start and 3rd in the Texas Thoroughbred Association Futurity next time out

  • 1st dam won on debut at Woodbine at two for trainer Mark Casse, scoring by 7 ¼ lengths; in her third start, she ran 7th in the Grade 3 Sweetest Chant Stakes at Gulfstream, and though off the board, she was just 3 ¼ lengths behind the winner.

  • This filly’s dam’s sire is the Grade 1 winner SCAT DADDY, who, despite his untimely death at aged 11, sired more than 130 stakes winners, 15 champions, including Triple Crown winner and international sire Justify and the very influential champion and sire No Nay Never. SCAT DADDY is the broodmare sire of another 55 stakes winners and 5 champions, including Whitmore.

  • The first dam has 2 winners from her first three starters, including BEBOP BABY, who has added an 8th win to her resume since the catalogue, with earnings now at $154,587.

  • This filly’s second dam, a winner sprinting on the dirt at Gulfstream, has also produced G3 winner SOUND MONEY (by Flatter), who fetched $200,000 as a weanling. He has 4 wins and 7 placings out of 15 starts, with earnings of $438,585 to date.

  • Second dam also produced the dam of Grade 2 winner STITCHED ($947,214 to 5, 2024) and stakes winner SWILL ($259,554 to 6, 2024).

  • MAST TRACK, winner of the Grade 1 Hollywood Gold Cup in track record time, and JEMAYEL, winner of the Group 1 Prix Saint-Alary, are two of the four stakes performing half-siblings to the second dam; another sibling produced READY TO ACT, winner of Keeneland’s Grade 2 Beaumont Stakes and two other races.

  • This filly has two of the very successful crosses of Seattle Slew and Mr. Prospector – a cross that has produced leading sire Tapit, among others.
